Divide the part by the whole and multiply by 100. For example, to find what percentage 25 is of 200: (25 ÷ 200) × 100 = 12.5%.

Percentage increase = ((New Value − Old Value) / Old Value) × 100. For example, going from 50 to 75: ((75 − 50) / 50) × 100 = 50% increase.

Percentage is a fraction expressed out of 100 (e.g., 75% = 75 out of 100). Percentile indicates the value below which a given percentage of data in a dataset falls — for example, scoring in the 90th percentile means you scored higher than 90% of test takers.
